Hey,
Wondering if you guys can help me troubleshoot some problems I'm having with my new edf jet. It is a Skyangel 50mm L-39 PNP version.
First of all I have the receiver bound to my DX7 and have confirmed it works with spare servos
I'll connect the battery to the ESC, and then connect the ESC to my throttle channel on the receiver.
Upon connecting the battery I get a start up chime coming from the motor/esc and then steady beeps in one-second intervals. I've also noticed that the light on my receiver is turned off.
No matter what I do I cant seem to get any sort of response, (turn on the Tx with WOT then moving down, etc).

Just a thought but have you made sure your trim tab for throttle control is all the way down? i got a ESC from hobbyking and the same sort of thing happened to me and as soon as i moved the trim tab down to te bottom all was fine, might be worth a try

Constant beeping from the motor and no light on the rx usually means no power to the rx, from the bec in the esc.
I would check your connections first, then see if you actually have voltage to the rx.
Sounds most likely that the esc in yours is defective.

Their is two possible sollutions to the prob.
1) no light on the receiver will be 90% sure that is did not bind completly.Have the controller at least 3 feet away from the receiver to make sure you get a good bind.
2) the consant beep that you are getting sounds like the ESC is not programed

Your ESC is getting power and your Rx is not. Make sure the ESC lead is plugged into your throttle channel and that it is plugged in the right way.
