Hi I'm new at this hobbie and have many questions but will ask one at a time.I saw on a forum somewhere that you can add a battery by plugging one into any unused channel on your receiver. Does this give you a parallel set up? is it like hooking a single parallel pack to the battery position on the receiver?

rone,
If you hook the battery up through the speed control and in turn hook that up to your throttle channel it should power the whole receiver. The throttle channel is usually 3.
