Default EPS100C or EPS300C Slow Stick ?

I'm looking to buy a Slow Stick and I'm wondering which version is better - the EPS100C or EPS300C motor.

I dont know much about electrics so any help would be great

I would definitely get the EPS 300 version... I didn't know there was an EPS 100 version.

The 100C (basically a Speed 280) is way too small to get a SlowStick flying properly. The 300C (which is 370 motor, which is essentially a 7.2v Speed 300?????????- can you say, confusing?) is quite capable of providing sufficient power even if one uses relatively large servos and heavy NiCd or NiMh batteries.

Cheers, Phil

P.S. read the Ultimate Guide to the SS over in the www.rcgroups.com forum.

300 all the way! I read some tricks here about breaking in the motor underwater, and retiming it. Mine will hover on a 13x9 prop, 2100 2S Lipo. Gets a bit hot with that much prop though.

I have the EPS100 version. One thing for sure, it's underpowerd []but still able to fly decently but cannot climb fast.
