I have purchased the gws e-starter Arf as my first plane. I was wondering what kind of tools are needed to assemble the model. Also I would like to know where is teh best online place to purchase electronics for the plane. I am on a budget so I will have buy items as I can afford it.

If I remember the instructions carefully, they list the tools necessary to build the plane.

Mostly, you need screwdrivers, an X-Acto knife with several blades, and a tube of 5-minute epoxy. All of this can be purchased at Wal-Mart if you have no hobby shop near you.

I see that Hitec 55's are recommended for this plane. I have two of these servos and I would strongly recommend you get a good set of precision screwdrivers. I tried using a cheap set to take the servo arm off and ended up stripping the screw that holds it on.

The servo arm is now off, but with the help of a dremel tool and a pair of pliers....
