Default Basic Aerobatic Help

I keep dropping a wing at the top of the loop, in my zagi xs.

I changed my throws to that the elevon throw deflects more up than down.
Still no better

what other causes are there for this happening, I enter the 'death spiral' each time.

I enter from level flight, and with a touch of up elevator just before the loop.

Any help would be great!!

Thanks alot

Could be one wing is heavier than the other. Check the lateral balance.
Could be it's snapping out of the loop if it's tail heavy.
Could be on aileron is moving up, or down, more than the other.

Thanks for the help, I went out after dinner to check the CG of my wing.

I used the plumb method with a chalk line, and found that the CG was exactly 8 inches from the nose, but it was 2 and a quarter inches to the left!!!

I made the WRONG assumption that since the wing and gear was so symetrical, that the laterial balance should be perfect.

I have moved the flight pack, and reciever to remedy this mal-alignment.

unfortunately I live in western new york, and it's far to windy to test out my changes.

Morning can't get here soon enough.

Thanks again for your help!

When you get confident you will be flying it in a lot of wind.
It's truly amazing how well they fly in the wind.
I've flown my wing in wind that you had to lean into to keep standing up.
They just don't seem to get thrown around like other planes. They seem to fly better in the wind, climb faster.
Of course start with milder wind and work your way up.
And fly upwind so you don't get blown away.

Well I went out this morning and I wasn't all the way pleased.

I didn't re-check the exact position of the CG this morning, but I placed the pack in its new location that I found last night.

The controls were pretty mushy. Banking out of a turn left the wing oscillating back and forth till I settled her.

Again a loop required a bit of left aileron to keep it over the top. And it still stalled/death spiraled

Rolls were a bit better than before.

It is my guess that I need to move the CG forward, but that could be wrong.
Last night I measured it at exactly 8 inches from the nose.

I really enjoy flying my wing, but I still feel it needs further refinement to fully enjoy this great plane.

I could really use some help,

Thank you
