Me and my father have been flying a ultimate 3d made by Eflite. Now in mid air the the motor would cut out for a slpit sec and resume. i put heat shrink over the connector that goes to the speed control. Is there a solution to this or do i need to buy a esc?
Thank for the responds

Does it do it all the time or just after you've flown it for a while?
If it just starts doing it after you've flown for a few minutes you might just have the LVC set to high on your ESC. The LVC (low voltage cutoff) should be set for no less than 6 volts (for the stock 2s pack).
If it is constantly doing then either your ESC might be messed up or you've got a bad connection somewhere. Check ALL of the connections, make sure they're all soldered good and didnt get a cold joint, if needed go back and resolder all of them and try it again.

It's probably glitches, especially if you're using a single conversion rx. All of my electrics that I have a single conversion rx in will do this. Another thing you want to check is that the rx and ESC are not too close together.

If this is a 2 cell LiPo (7.4V nominal, 8.4V max off the charger) 7.5V cutoff is way too high. It should be set to about 3V per cell or 6.0V, otherwise you will get nuisance cutoffs.
