Help on undestanding batteries

If you could give me the low-down on the terminology off stuff like Amps, voltage, Nicid,
Types of batteries
Stuff like that

That's a bit of a tall order for one thread, and a LOT of typing...
The two best ways to learn are by:
a) reading the threads in these forums. Ask more specific questions as you go. Learning in smaller bites, you're less likely to get overwhelmed.
b) doing. Get yourself an electric park flier that has all the components laid out for you. Having the gear in your hands makes learning much easier, not to mention more fun!
Take a look at the two sticky threads at the top of the Electric Training forum. These might help you get a basic understanding of things, and give you a few ideas for your first electric airplane!
