I have a GP flatout with the brushless setup, 640mah lipo , my question is if I get a higher mah rating battery will it make the flight times longer? I am using the ESC from GP (BL-8) thank's for the help guy's!

Yes, probably. But it may also put you out of the amp range that your ESC can handle.
