Default electric set up

i dont know much about electrics. but ive been looking at a few. i see alot of arfs that come with engines. and then says youll need micro servos, esc, tx, batteries and charger. but i never see anything stating that a rx is required. but i would think you would have to have an rx in all electrics right?

You are right, a reciever is always needed. It is just assumed.
