Default Electric Flyer

Hi I am looking for a cheap electric RC flyer that does not cost very much and is not too difficult to fly. I have some stick time and I can take off and land pritty well. I would also like it to have 4 channels. Does anyone have any suggestions?

ok... now if you haven't flown in a while you might want to go with a 4 channel plane such as the GWS pico tiger moth or the Estarter would be good also. almost every plane you can imagine comes with instructions so you dont have to worry about that. as for a radio, you do not need a complicated computer radio. just go with a simple 4 channel radio such as the JR Quattro or the Futaba 4YF. these both have combos with a micro reciever and micro servos which i will get to in a little bit. the estarter will require a 3 channel radio, 2 micro servos, micro reciever, battery, charger, and ESC (Electronic Speed Control). i would suggest that you get a 4 channel radio so that you can use it in your next plane or two. a good place to purchase all this stuff would be tower hobbies and i will post links to everything in a little bit. but i would also suggest that you go to a local hobby shop and get help from them. they can tell you several alternate combos for you plane or what plane would suit you the best. a whole plane with everything you need with a good radio system can be had for around $180-the sky. that depends on what gear you choose. here are a couple of links to some basic stuff for the GWS Estarter.

you will also need Epoxy and/or FOAM SAFE CA. DO NOT USE NORMAL CA GLUE ON FOAM! it will eat the foam. also, if you are goin to fly by your self for the first time, find a big field about the size of a football field with no trees or cars or buildings. get plenty of airspeed before giving up elevator to take off. dont make any turns until you get some altitude. when coming in for a landing remember that when the plane is coming at you, everything is reversed. also use small control movements and dont try any aerobatics until you can fly and land the plane without crashing.
good luck!!!!
