I would not suggest moving to a low wing war bird untill you have some experience on other planes
The P-51 while a good plane is not easy to fly, it requires fast flight all the time and doesn't like slow speeds at all
Most of the low wing planes are bad to tip stall when slowing down to land
I also am looking forward to getting a low wing war bird but not ready yet
if the electrafun is the plane on your profile and that is all you have flown as of now you definately are not ready for P-51
I would suggest a J-3 cub or maybe a cessna 182

Venom
Come on over to park flyers thread and look up shun da cub thread and you can get all the help you need
Do a little research on J-3 before you buy, there are a couple out there that are crap and will give you much greif
The Shun Da and the Park Zone seem to be the best ones out there
Good choice and good luck

I don't know this plane. Is there a link that you can provide so we can see what plane you have been flying?

a great next plane would be a GWS Estarter. it has ailerons so you would need a 4 channel radio. they are pretty easy to build and fly. very easy to repair if crashed.

Hi,

the plane i have been flying for the past year is the Electrafun, here is a link to a website about it,

http://www.electrafun.co.uk/.

I have just bought a J-3 cub made by kyosho, i haven't flown it yet, hopefully i will get to fly it in the new year.
