Default Wiring Controller to Engine?

I have a thunderbird 18 amp controller, it has three wires, red, black and white.

The engine (don't know the brand, came with a package), has three wires, Red, Black and yellow.

Question, is the yellow - White in this instance? I assume red to red, black to black, and remaining two are white to yellow.

Oh for a standard.....must have been bargain on yellow wires that month.....

Thanks,
Chris

Default RE: Wiring Controller to Engine?

Hi, I've just replied to your question in the other section you posted it in.

Any coloured wire to any coloured wire works on a brushless motor.
swap any 2 wires to reverse the direction if you need to.
