Default Simulator transfer

Thinking about getting the realflight g3. So how long would i have to fly that (and not crash) until i could go out and fly my real plane? Also is this simulator worth the money?

Default RE: Simulator transfer

A human trainer is more valuable than the Sim. Find someone who flys, or a model club and absorb their knowlege. However, the sim will greatly improve your flying ability and is a lot of fun. I've been flying for almost 20 years and purchased my first sim a couple of years ago. Within a couple of months I was flying better than I ever imagined I could. I fly on the sim everyday to keep my fingers in shape.
