Hi All, any sugestions for charger for 8 cell 9.6 volt NiMH batteries? The charger from HZ SC says it will do 8 cells , its great on 7 cells ,but it won't do the 8 cells i have(from all batteries.com) Any help would be greatly app!

You need to make adapters for your battery, but its a great charger that will do up to 10 cell Nimh. It also does NiCd (does anyone still use them?) and LiPo. The instructions are pretty poor, but you can always call Horizon Hobby tech for help.

I'm using this one on my 9.6 volt, 1000 ma, NiMHs and it works great.
Not a bad price, either.

I have been using the Astro 110D for years and just got the new chip to upgrade it. It works beautifully as a charger-dischrger.

how fast are you looking to charge the batteries? How many mAh are the batteries? What kind of money are you looking to spend? Are you going to want to charge anything else with this charger, or just specifically the 8 cell NiMH packs?
