Default Radio question?

Im new at this electric stuff. I have a gas powered Skylark 40 but i havn't flown that in over 8 years or more. I currently am a privite pilot and fly real airplanes. I got interested in bying a park flyer yesterday when I saw them on Diy. I wanted to know can I use my Futaba FP.T6NFK radio that I allready have? Also what airplane would you recomend? Im a college student and don't have much time to build. I want something fun, fast, and easy to fly.

Thanks

You can use that radio but the new ones are about 1/1o that size of receiver, also the servos weigh grams not ounces. Best bet would to lay down 100 bucks and buy a 3 channel micro system for the park flyer type planes that require as less a weight as possible.

Why not use the transmitter he already has, and just get a "flight pack" for the plane he chooses? GWS markets many different micro electric flight packs that, while designed for a specific GWS plane, can be used in other planes as well.

GWS flight packs include a micro receiver, two or three micro servos, an electronic speed control for the motor, and a battery. Add a receiver crystal, and it's everything you need to fly a GWS plane.

Im thinking about getting the tipsy for my frist plane. So what is this flight pack you are talking about mkirsch. I was going to get every thing that is recomended for the tipsy except the radio seeing as I have one. But will the recomended servos work with my radio?
