Default YS 140 to gas ?
Has anyone tried to convert the YS140 to gas? I know they could be several problems. but just curious. Thanks Rich

The biggest problem would be solving the pump problem. I would like to convert one to ignition to use 0% nitro fuel though.

More trouble than it is worth on this engine.

The problem is the piddle valve diaphragm is not compatable with gas.

Ask on the Pattern Forum, Archie Stafford converted one for a UAV project. I cannot remember the details.

It may be possible that the ones with the valve on the pushrod could be converted?
