Default Cool four stroke engine!

Hey, look what I found in the marketplace. A Stihl four stroke "Four Mix" 32cc engine. Very nice.

I even have a video of it running. PM me your e-mail address if you would like to see it, and I'll send it to you.

That sure looks like honey of an engine. Is it out of a chain saw or a weed whip?

It's out of a "weed whip", but it is pretty powerful. Turns a 16 x 8 at 8300, and an 18 x 8 at 7200. I think an 18 x 6 would be ideal though, at 7800 plus. By PE's prop power chart, that's over 15 lbs. of thrust, and considerably more powerful than the Honda GX31 that I did several years ago.

Nicely done. Are you using the stock muffler for flight?
Mine will turn a 20x8 at @ 6600 RPM.

The engine sold. I am going to do another one for myself. Mine will have a "straight stack" for an exhaust; no muffler.

I have one more to do for sale. If anyone is interested, PM me.
