Default Muffler idea, picture added

I have been thinking of this for a while. Why not let the canister occupy the space where a second cylinder would be. So I did it. This is a rough proof of concept fabrication. It is very quiet, about 100 DB at 10' at full throttle using a Vess 21B prop. That is 6800 rpm. Th engine is a 50 cc chainsaw conversion. I worked around the silicone coupler with rolled sheet metal held in place with hose clamps. If I do an airplane that would normally use a horizontally opposed twin this might be workable.
