Default Walbro spec list

Can anyone point me to a listing of specs for the HD / HDA / WJ carbs?
By specs i mean bores and venturi sizes.
I am particularly looking around the 19 - 20mm bore with a venturi of 17 - 18mm.....or thereabouts!!!
Can anyone confirm that the number of a particular carb (HDA-48) is the bore in 1/64th's of an inch? But then this certainly does not work for something like the WJ 8 which is fitted to the 120cc Stihl!!!
Thanks in advance for any assistance.

Go here http://www.walbro.com/parts-service.aspx Click on Walbro Parts Lookup, then Browse by Walbro Number, then pick the letters that are on your carb before the numbers and click on it. Find your carb in the list and click on it.It will give you the venturi size in mm's which can be converted to fractions by using an online converter. http://mdmetric.com/tech/cvtchtfdm.htm

I have found this list here to be quite helpful. You can get the parts breakdown numbers and the venturi size, etc from it.

You can go up the link by clicking on the series link to get to all the other Walbro carb models too.

Hi guys, thanks for the replies so far.
Tidnab, unfortunately your systems require me to be looking up a particular carb and have its designation ie HDA-56.
But i do not have a carb. I need the list of venturi and bore sizes to choose one, if you get my point.
My choice of carb will be based purely on those dimensions, hence the need for a listing of those specs.
Earlwb, , yep, tried your system and i agree it works. However. sure takes a lot of searching, not that i'm lazy!!
Just wondered if there was a listing due exclusivley on size????

Well, I looked for a list too, and there isn't one out there that I could find either.
Someone could go through the website and get the model number and venturi size and put it into a spreadsheet, but no one has done it yet.

There was a list in the Engine Conversions section for carbs with around an 11 mm venturi ,but the link won't open any more. I had it printed out so I turned it into a PDF.The carb list isn't in order, but the first PDF is for Walbro carbs and the second PDF is for some Zama carbs.I know this doesn't help the poster of this thread, but may be useful to someone else.

Those are good lists. At one time there was also published two lists of carbs with the venturi size, but the list was of carbs that had accelerator pumps. I wrote the list down somewhere but can't find it. Anyone know where the post(s) is here in the forum?

Well, here is one but I thought there was another, longer list posted at one time:

Thanks,

I had both of those saved in my "Useful modelling info" file!!! I did see a few years ago, a list that was not series specific, but based only on venturi/ bore size. Basically a list from the smallest to the biggest. Right now i can't do such a list, maybe i will ask Walbro direct if they have such a beastie!!
Stay tuned.

Mail sent so now waiting!!

I have received a short reply back from Walbro. No such list exists. However i will endeavour to scan all the info from each series, then sort it out relative to size. That is the theory anyway!!!
