Default Elmer Wall 4 cylinder engine

I have a Elmer Wall engine like in the video below. Mine does not have the 4 into1 header, but after hearing it I want to make one for my engine. To find more on these engines...Google Elmer Wall engine images. A lot more will come up when you ad the word images. Thanks Capt,n

That really does sound good. I never heard an "L" head engine sound like that before!

I have read most of the Wall engines was used in model boats & could turn as high a 10,000 RPM. Boats have small props so they turn up a lot more RPM. I will find that write-up & copy & paste it on this thread. Capt,n

Damn that is sick!

Looks like the header is just some skillfully made 1/4in. Copper pipe stuffed into a 1/2in- 1/5in reducer.

This is what 10,000rpm sounds like.
Methanol fuel ......... glow ignition 4 cylinder water cooled overhead valve 25cc.

Built it about 5 years ago. Runs in a Rivierra hull.

Bluejets, that was a nice 4 cylinder engine you made. I see you are a engine type of person & enjoy every aspect of them. Keep up the good work. Long live us engine gurus !

The Wall sounds like it has a pretty lumpy cam. Sounds very good!
