Homelite chainsaw engine conversion

Homelite XL 12 Chainsaw engine - good for conversion?

I have one of these still in the saw that I think is 54cc. Would it be a good engine to convert? Either with its' magneto or with a ECDI?
Anyone done one? Thanks
