I have Identified clearly that the following engine I have, is a Homelite, but I dont know if its a 33cc or a 45cc.

Stick a new pencil without a point (not sharpened) in through the spark plug hole, and as accurately as possible measure how far the piston moves from all the way at the top, to all the way at the bottom. This is the stroke of the engine.

Then take the muffler off, stick the pencil in all the way until it touches the other side of the cylinder. Make sure it is touching the opposite cylinder wall, and not going into a port. Then rotate the engine so that the piston comes up and pushes against the pencil. This should leave a mark on the pencil. Measure from the end of the mark on the pencil to the tip, and this is your bore.

Then use this formula:

(bore x bore) x stroke x .7854 = displacement

If you measured in inches, this will give you the cubic inch displacement. Divide this number by .061 to convert it to cubic centimeters.

I believe your engine is a 45cc, but I'm not sure.
