Default Homelite 150 conversion

Hey guys, need some help.. I have an engine out of an old homelite 150 chainsaw that I would like to convert, but the shaft has L/H threads. I would also like to have some input on what size carb should be used.. Any input would be appreciated.. I believe the engine is 45 cc..

Default RE: Homelite 150 conversion

I started to take apart my homelite 150 to convert and decided that it looked like the carb was going to be mounted on the front of the engine and the muffler on the back. The muffler out the back didn't bother me, but having a carb on the front made me wonder. Since I didn't get very far on it I can add any advice. I did notice the left hand thread. Please let me know if you are successful, since I still have my chainsaw. Good Luck.

Paul
