Default Is it plated inside?

Hey Everyone.
I am tearing down locked up engine ,I think it might be RYAN but i am not sure.
It was locked up and when I took it apart I found two long scars on the cylinder walls.Piston have one scratch but i can't tell how deep it is.I hardly can feel it with my finger. Ring seems to be fine and bearings turning smooth.
Anyways, when i washed the cylinder and cleaned it, it looked like it was plated with some metal,i think chrome. The chrome was missing at some parts of the cylinder,it looked like peeled paint in some spots. So I want to put it back together and try to crank it up,but i would like to ask you guys first If "peeled spots" will affect preformance and durability. The rest of engine lokos fine .
Thanks

Mitty

doesnt sound like its worth trying to get it to run given how cheap you could find another one in good shape.
