Several years back (actually like twenty years back) I had a Victa-engined two-cycle lawnmower. It was marketed by Sears as the "Eager-1" 2-cycle. At one point, I needed some parts and found that Sears acted like they never sold it!
Anyway, a lot of research later, I figured out that it was probably the only Victa (or Sunbeam-Victa) engined product ever sold in the US!
I really liked the silly thing, but my point is only that I doubt you'll find many "Yanks" who've even heard of one.

Worked on a few Victa mowers in my small motor shop back then, these were the hovercraft type mowers. I belive the motors were made in Italy or Sweden. Couldn't get motor parts for them.
