Default Parts prices

I was looking for a ATM module price for a Fuji 32 on the Tower Hobbies website.. Never did find it...However, just looking at some prices, I almost fell off my chair...A Walbro carb for a Fuji 32 lists for $98.99..$98.99 [X(] this exact same carb, brand new from any chainsaw store in the country, lists for about $42.00...A spinner bolt, to use a Tru-turn spinner, is $35.99 [X(]
A Champion spark plug is $8.49 [X(]..And I thought Horizon was bad...Welcome to the world of exclusive imports guys, BEND OVER....It always pays to shop around....The carbs are at least 50% off from Walbro to a dealer....Spark plugs, $3.00 or less...Any decent machinist with a Hardinge chucker lathe can make bolts like that from hex stock all day long for less than $2.00....Been there, done that, was the fastest chucker operator in the West, A legend in my own mind..[8D]

Well, it took a while to find, but you can find the part number here:

Tower must have made a little booboo on their website. Look at some of the parts prices for the 86 twin if you want to be shocked[X(]

So the 32 and the 50 use the same coil. $76.99 from Tower, OUCH!

Cross reference to something you could get at your local weedy parts wholesaler. Or upgrade with a new ch ignition and loose the fly wheel. Make it all state of the art stuff......

These Fuji ATM modules interested me. Anybody know if their claims of retarding and advancing timing are true? If so does someone like Walbro make a similar unit? Seems a good way to improve something like a poulan 46, to make a more friendly starting engine. I've seen Walbro replacement modules on their website, but the differences in the units isn't clearly explained.

The MB looks pretty good. Looks like it cuts out around 9500?
