Default Prop recomendation/rpm range for 88cc husky?

All,
i didnt want to post yet, but im curious as to what rpm range am i shooting for, recommended prop make and size for my Husquvarna 88cc ,5.3 cu in.

today, i tached it with a zinger 26-10 at 5900rpm at power, and 1500-1600 at idle.

if this zinger is anything like the zinger i had on my ys140L, i probably wont like it. the YS liked the 18x6 APC MUCH better.
so, im thinking of the MSC, Mejlik, bambula etc type of props.

any help is appreciated. i will (should) be getting help from our local gas engine guru tomorrow or saturday.

Try a 3W 26X10 wood prop. I have one on my Brison 5.8 at 6400rpm. 5900 on a standard Zinger is doing pretty well! Sound like you've got a winner there.

hmm,
i asked Mike at MSC props, and he suggested a 25x10, which i bought in New mexico this week. they sometimes go down in dia cuz the prop pulls hard.

if your saying 5900 is good with a zinger, then i guess icant wait to see what both do. ill see if anyone has a 3w 26in.

triangle, ill see if i can use my digital fish scale to check pull.

if yours is a stihl, what carb is on it?

thx

Update:

after having to retime the engine, which is sitting at 26 deg btdc (yes,i know, needs to be 28) i picked up 300rpm with that zinger 26x10! now its 6200 rpm.

more to come...

If you're looking for a home for that engine, consider the Aeroworks 33% Edge. At 88cc, your engine should not be that heavy thus keeping this plane even lighter. But at 6200rpm on a 26X10, it would fly VERY well.
