Coleman fuel instead of gasoline.........

Glad I could be of help. It is a subject that confuses a lot of people. It is a widely held misbelief for example, that high octane fuel is more powerful. It actually has a little less available energy. It just burns slower, and allows an engine to be built with more compression, and it is the compression that increases the power. Nitromethane, besides it's oxygen carrying power boosting feature, burns really slow. This is one of the reasons you see flames shooting out of the headers on "Fuel Dragsters"; the nitro is still burning as it exits the cylinder.

AV8TOR, I sure thank you and the other boys for putting me in the know on this. This was a good one and did I see you type "Ultralite"??? I have built and flew 7 of them things down thru the years. LAZAIRS mosly. I started out with the little 5.5 pioneers and the the last ones were a French made 25 HP twingle!!!!!!! Should have stayed with the 9.8 Rotax. They were the best engine I ever used. Bar none. Now that all of you have my engine right, I need to go over to the scratch build forum and put out a few bites on one I'm doubling. Ha. Ha. iT'S GOING TO BE A Whooper. Later Hooker53
