Homie 33 engine mount
#1
After doing a search and coming up with nothing, I need your help. Is there a part number for the Hangar 9 engine mount that is being used on the Homelite conversions? What are the other options available? Have any of you fabricated a mount?
Thanks for your help!

Check out the Wacker Engines site, their ad is at the top of the engine conversions page. Look under "new products" I believe Dubro makes a large aluminum isolation mount that would also work. I modified a .90- .120 glass-fiber mount that I had laying around and it works fine.(I can't remember what brand). I myself am going to order the wacker mounts, they come with adapter plates and in two sizes, small and large.Good price too!

Now that was just the info that I was originaly looking for. Thanks a bunch w8ye. I checked a couple of hobbyshops in SiouxFalls this weekend and came up empty handed. Looks like it's time to order. Thanks again.

There's also this glass mount but I havn't seen one. It might be too light.

I've used the GP 1.20-1.80 mount for the Poulans up to 46cc with no problem. It does nees a bit of trimming for fit perfectly, but the FRP material is easy to carve.

I actually had one of these in my hands Saturday (GP mount) but the back side was not flat and I was a little leary to try it. Oh well, live and learn. The price sure is right. The Hangar 9 mount looks like the real deal tho.
