Default RYOBI 31cc questions

Hi all, first time here, I have some questions about my ryobi 31cc engine, (weed trimer) that Im using for a deep vee hull project,

Ive read about the air plane conversions for jag engines, but I need some answers for my boat,
My factory carb should be replaced or hogged out, (zama P10a 64p) on carb, my carbs about 315."

Anybody got a suggestions about a good size and brand of carb, or should i enlarge this one.
Any body have experience with internal porting on these engines, looks like plenty of room to grind ports on this head

I think I will just run as is for now, unless mods are simple,

On carb, can i remove the venturie tube before enlarging this type of carb, (tube is the one that looks like the tip of a empty 22 case with a little grill in it, can i back it out?pop it out? only looks bonded in.

thanks for your answers, post all ryobi 31cc stuff for me please

Also: I do not want to have a upright canister muffler on this boat motor, I want to rout watercooled exhaust out the the back, anybody here ever run this engine with tuned/custom exhaust, thought i could modify a zenoah or just fabricate my own, just need to know what works well on the 31cc ryobi (50"boat)

Pete at www.wackerengines.com has the carb you need for like $20. Dont take a drill to enlarge your current carb, you'll only damage the airflow and render it almost useless.

You can drill out the venturi, if you know what you're doing. I've gotten some that are done that way and they work just fine. Personally, I would let somebody else do it or just find a good deal on big bore carbs on E-bay - it's much easier.
