Hey Converts! I have a question: My friend came to me with a 30 cc echo chainsaw engine which as an integrated oil pump for the chain, could this be used as a smoke system pump ? can anybody answer my question. Thanks AERO NUT.

This has been asked over and over. Nope. The pump is not high volume so while it will move fluid, not in large amounts needed for a good smoke trail. Not to metion that the pump pressure varies with engine rpm so at best it would only pump at full throttle.
