Default Husqvarna information

Who has a line on which Husqvarna saw engines make the best conversions? Especially the bigger ones? I picked up a 77cc the other day and broke it down. I have sawed the casing all up
and I have a nice looking large engine- but the possibilities for mounting it are miserable-
There is just nowhere to bolt anything substantial to it. I now have a great engine that I can't mount. I can't afford to buy saws- even used ones hoping I can use them. Who has the straight dope on these things? I want to stay with Husky as I have a friend who is a dealer.

Hi,
ive only seen an 81 cc posted here with picture. may need to look about mid-early summer last year.

my 88cc looks exactly the same. i believe any models from 281 to 295 will do. mine was from a 288xp. very expensive chain saw new.

here is a side pic of mine, mounted on my extra 330L

mr holbrow i have the mounting thing figured out, have 4 3120 7.3s here and did a 2100 6.0 some months ago. I used longer case bolts and some bushings to make it go. Very effective and looks good too.
