Default Craftsman (Poulan) engine conversion questions

I have a Craftsman 2.5 Turbo saw engine to convert. 2.5 figures out to 42cc but it has the carb attachment system of the 46. I know poulan made these.Probably won't hand start with the factory mag setup? Phelon system. I am thinking of putting it on a big Spad so cost is the issue. How much performance will I loose if any? It has a WT 61 carb, is that a good thing? Also I need a low side needle for it. Will any needle out of a Walbro that fits work?
Thanks!

Man you have had a lot of hits but no replies... Here is my $.02... I think a bigger carb would be a plus rather than a minus... If you can make/buy an engine mount and a prob shaft to fit the fly wheel I don't see why it wouldn't work...
