Homelite 45cc conversion runs good, idles good, transitions good, but only at half choke.
My first thought was to play with the needles some more but now I'm thinking air leak,
what do you think? Thanks for any thoughts.....Craig

Sounds like the pulse holes are not lined up. Check from the cyl, through the plastic block, to the pulse hole in the carb on the side with the single hole in the cover, which is the fuelpump side.

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately thats not the problem, holes line up perfectly.
I just took it apart to double check. I did notice the whole gasket was wet.

Can you wiggle the carb up and down when the screws are tight. just wondering if they may be a little to long and hitting bottom.

No the carb is tight. I think the problem is / was leakage between the carb/spacer and
the spacer/ head. Both gaskets were wet so I cleaned them up, made a new gasket for the
head siliconed them and reassembled. Will try it again tomorrow after work and let you know.
Rick, hopefully test fly it this weekend. The weather looks better for Sat. than Sun.
