Capt,n John and RCIGN
Hope these pictures are posted. This is the 41.5cc Zenoah (Red Max Blower) engine after the metal has been cut away. My plan is to use 1/8 th inch Al "L" bracket to put a mount in front of the cly. The two cly. hold down bolts will hold the "L" and and the coil will be held with two mounting screws and stand off's. The timing will be changed per the approach suggested by Capt,n John (remove the shaft key - rotate rotor and fix in new location) Still not sure how to make or aquire a prop hub - any suggestions? After giving this approach a try if it doesn't perform acceptabilly - will be asking RCIGN for options to get this dude up and running. Would be willing to do as much of the work myself as possible, but would need detailed instructions ( I don't have a machine shop capability) Any input would be appricated.

Charlie,
Any pics of the engine before you removed all of the excess metal? I wouldnt mind one of those for my bearcat if it works out for you.

You can see pics of this engine before any metal was cut away in a previous thread (see below "Red MaxBlower - Zenoah Engine"). The engine was still very dirty in these pics. I have removed about 12 oz. of useless metal - still a little yet to go.

I got this engine from a used blower I bought on E-Bay. You can find sources for Red Max products through a search on the net. Several of the Red Max products have Zenoah engines of different sizes.
