what is this engine, ?? help,,!!!!!

just bought this engine,, was told it is 45cc,, 18 x 8 prop on it,, only markings i can see are,, made in canada,, on it,, anybody have any info on it please,,

heres a few more pics,, i found a number below the exhaust port "100010",, and a circle with the letter "M" in it,, the engine is about 7" tall,, i'm new to gas engines,, so i need all the help i can get,, i bought the engine, prop, mount, and exhaust for £20.00 thats about $35.00,, i think i did ok,,

points ???, dont know,, it has a wire going from the ignition coil down to the crankcase behind the magnet flywheel,, if it has points i suppose they'll be there,,

It's steel, see the rust ? The engine is not a 45cc anyway..There's a 5/16-24 thread on the end of the crank.....The 100cc Quadras use the same setup, made from aluminum and larger..New 75 and 100 cc Quadras have 2 button head screws at the outer diameter to keep the hub from loosening...

been having a good look round the site and i think i might have the make of it,, "US ENGINES" ,, if you know different please tell me,, dont know the size yet,, will have to measure the bore and stroke,,

You're kinda hard to convince
...It was a Quadra before it was a US Engines...Been through 2 or 3 companies in the last 30 years or so....Give Dick Benett a call at www.bennettbuilt.com, or look at his website...You have to type the address in your search engine, it won't go there from here....No free advertising maybe ?
Look on page 11 of his online catalog....
