Ralph, how did the races go you were just at ? Did those "little" conversion engines set any new records this year ?

Didn't see any new records, the races went very well, our "overweight underpowered" GT 80 engines running on methanol and nitro were turning 19x18 carbon props about 11,500 in the air and flying the 27 lb formula one planes at around 180 mph...Stockers (ours came in 3rd) run about 145 mph with a different prop...We had a new pilot/caller combo that had never raced before flying a plane they had never flown before...
There are NO other 80cc engines currently running that are competetive...Unless somone finds something better, ZENOAH rules...

Hey Ralph, glad you made it home safe and sound. Sounds like you had a good time.
