Hi, I have a shindaiwa t25 weed eater, and I had some questions about modifications.
First thing is when you modify the fuel transfer ports, are you suppoed to make them bigger, and smooth out the edges, or are you just supposed to smoth out the edges for better flow over them?
Second thing I want to know is when you increase the compression by taking metal of the bottom of the cylinder, peope say that you have to take some metal off the top of the exhust port to correct the timming, but wouldn't that just put the compression bsck to what it was before you increased the compression, because compression doesn't start until the piston goes past the exhust port, and taking metal off of it seems like it would put the compression back to what it originaly was.
Anoughter question is if you were to fill in the hole in the spark plug around the tip of the spark with something like JB weld, would that increase the pressure, because it would be taking some volume out of the cylinder, so the compression would increase; am i right or wrong, and has anyone ever done it before?
One last question is I have a water pump for my boat that feeds off the engine pulse, and I was woundering if I could tap into the carb adapter that goes inbetween the carb and intake port to get the pulse off it there, or would it not work since the weed eater is using that pulse?
Please awnser my questions soon, and Thanks
