Default RE: how do I?

Hi,

Most of us use a fish scales attached to the airplane. A digital scales is much easier to read when trying to keep the airplane from running off while reading the numbers.

Static thrust doesn't tell the whole story though unless you are into hovering. What counts is how the airplane flies. Different props and different airplanes "unload" the prop differently in flight. Test flying various props is the only way to check performance in reality.

Good luck,
AV8TOR
