Default Stihl engine sizes

Stihl makes a surprising variety of engine sizes. There is no substitute for cubic inches however the numbers are in cc.

Weedeater
27.2cc

Brushcutters
25.4, 31.4, 30.8, 36.3, 40.2

Clearing Saws
30.8, 36.3, 40.2, 44.3, 48.7, 51.7, 56.5

Backpack Blowers
27.2, 44.9, 56.5, 64.8

There are more sizes.

Does anyone know if Ryobi makes engine sizes larger than 31cc?

Hi!
I've never seen a 2 - cycle Ryobi over 31cc not counting the the 30cc Ryobi branded Homelite engines. Also the Stihl FS 80 is a 25.4cc 1.27hp rated engine. Just wanted to get my $.02 in......Bob

CaptinJohn,

Ryobi is like such a compact package and it is unusual for an engine design not to be offered in several displacements.

,,Hello!!,,I'll throw in my 2 cents worth too!!,,,LOL,,it takes 16.387 cc to equal 1 cubic inch of displacement,,,something else to concider,,,I've converted a number of the stihl "chop saw" engines 5.5 cu in,,,and 6.8 cu in,,as I was told by a dealer,,there engines are "souped up" at the factory,,believe me!! they are impresive,,I have a formula,,,power for dollar invested,,,can't beat it!! also,,some of these "other" brands of engines,,,a "certain" brand ,,starts with the letter P are junk!!,,,you'll be lucky to get 50 hours from it!!,,,you have to be careful what you want to convert. I've been doing this for over 20 years,,,and have had good luck at it,,,any questions ,,or comments,,don't hesitate!!,,
