I picked up this engine in a garage sale, not sure what it started life out as. It's stamped Homelite on the carb. Crude measurements show a displacement of ~ 45cc. Front carb, rear exhaust, 6 bolt hub.

Also, it's missing the ignition system. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Hi,
It is a Super Husler which was advertised around 1980 in all of the mags. Thats about all I remember.

Thank you. Any idea what it used for ignition? I'm looking for a low cost way to see if it will still run.

Hi,
I think it used an ignition system simular to CH. They should be able to help you with a new hub for CH or go to RC ignitions. First make sure that the engine is serviceable before investing in ignition parts.
