I have recently aquired several new 25 cc and 30 cc homies. And also have some used 25 units. Never having done either I would like some side by side info.
Weight, mag and ignition and glow set ups
power, mag and ignition and glow. Let's say with a APC 16x8 preferably as I am familiar with that one. But I also use 18x6 a lot.
I am going to look into this thing with gassers running on a glow plug.

Hi Flyer,
Don't forget to check to see if they are the new or old models. The new models have more consevative timing for emmisions. Here is a good website on hopping either type. http://testfly.0catch.com/homelite/e...lindermod.html
Enjoy, Dave

There were variations over the years.
Forged one piece cranks, three piece cranks
I did have two 30's and a 25. I sold the 25. The cylinder/piston aseemblies will basically interchange on the crankcases but some 30's have #12 screws.
There are long 3/8" crankshafts and short 5/16" crankshafts. The 3/8" flywheels will almost fit the 5/16 shafts so be careful.
Metal backplates, plastic back plates and combinations thereof.
Enjoy,
Jim
