OK,
I have finished drawing up my plans for the boat that I'll be building, and it will require a velocity stack to go through one of the supports.
Is there an easy way to make one from around the house kinds of things? I don't have access to a lathe or that kind of stuff. I'll also be rather broke for the next few months, and this would be a good way to spend my broke nites
Is there anything special that I really need to make sure to do/do not do?
Thanks

There is a picture of a velocity stack I made from a plastic bottle ten years ago at:
