Default Fun Fly Roadrunner and Ryobi Conversion

I have FunFly RoadRunner ARF. It has a 90" wingspan, is 51" long, weighs 12-13 lbs without engine and has a wing area of 1380 sq. inches. I have a modified Ryobi 31cc that I'm thinking about using on this. Any ideas of expected performance? Thanks.

The plane should fly fine but don't expect it to hang on the prop.

Enjoy,

Jim

I don't think the roadruners are the type of plane to be hanging on the prop, a freind has one and it is a very large trainer plane.

TKG talks like they are more suited for a mid size engine like a 2.5 c.i. engine.

Road Runner with stock wing and a 30cc something on front is a great big teddy bear type plane. Clip off a wing bay one each end, remove almost all the dihedral, reduce the incidence in the wing add a 40cc something and you have a real high performance sport flier. With the wing mods and a good 30cc its agood sport flier.
The Road Runner really excells as your first giant, and much later as your knock about plane

Thanks for the info. I don't plan to hang it on the prop, I have a helicopter for hovering
