Would the ryobi 31cc work in this plane?

I saw this listing on ebay for a Super-Chipmunk & was wondering what you experts out there thought about putting a Ryobi 31cc on it. Here's the ebay link

Here is a link about a Dyanflite Chipmunk that uses a Ryobi 31cc conversion engine. The plane is a little larger, but also weighs more. If you can keep the plane around 14lbs with the Ryobi it should fly.

Good Luck

The manufacturer of the plane is IFLY Models but I can't seem to find any other information than what is mentioned above. I would like to know what kind of covering & hardware is used.......& quality in general.

I am assembling one of these as we speak. RC Ignitions has my Ryobi for electronic ignition conversion for this plane. The plane is built very well, but built light, almost like an electric- not neccesarrily a bad thing. For my Ryobi, I will have to cut the firewall off and move it back a couple inches. Not a lot of work, but kinda need to do this so I can get into the nose and reinforce it. The cowl is v-e-r-y long and even with the firewall moved back it will have the same dimensions (cowl in stock location) This plane appears much "larger" than the Goldberg plane. The covering is very nice/np wrinkles and looks much better in person than in pictures. The hardware is junk. It has "Robart" style hinge pins- which are some type of cheap copy that are soft and have way too much play in them to be considered safe to use. I substituted real Robarts and they fit right in the holes. I am not upset about the hardware as the it is offset by the cheap price of the plane, and I end up replacing hardware in most Arf's I buy. Here is some more info: Other places to buy and video of the plane electrified: http://e-flightline.com/ http://toc1.com/Products/SuperChipmunk/chipmunk.html I bought mine from the same e-b-a-y- seller and it arrived safely.

I will be starting a build thread soon in the "ARF" section here at RCU. My plane did not come with any instructions. Most of it is standard type assembly work, but not sure how I'm going to control the tailwheel, too late now but I could have run a metal wire from the rudder through the stabilizer through to the bottom. The tail surfaces are built-up and airfoiled, very nice work. here's a few pics- you can see the firewall area is a little light duty for a gasser so I will be added some ply.

Hey guys , I jumped in & bought one. Just waiting on the hub adaptor & the engine will be ready to go. What size RX battery do I need for 8 servos?
Here's a couple of pics.
