Take a look at the picture. See anything strange? The carb is turned 90 degrees from the normal position for a Ryobi. I was given this engine and told it was from a Stihl chain saw. One look and I said OH! THIS IS A RYOBI! NOT A STIHL. WRONG although it no doubt was built by Ryobi, it has the word STIHL on it a couple of places. The carb has Walbro on one side and Stihl on the other. The conversion is almost complete. It has one ring and no decompression slots. Feels like it has more compression than any other stock Ryobi I've seen. Does anybody have any knowledge of this engine?
