Default mufflers for converted engines?

I am contemplating going into gas, at least on one plane, and there are a lot of conversions out there. They seem like a good way to go. Are there any replacement mufflers that would fit say, converted Homelite engines? I was thinking that some type of conversion to a pitts style muffler for a smoke system might work pretty well, if possible.

Are there any companies that make replacement mufflers or maybe the existing stock mufflers could be tapped? Any info., websites, and replies appreciated.
Thanks!
