Default OPS30 Glow to Gas

Has anyone ever converted the OPS max 30 to gas. Since this has a glow pump type carb I assume you could change to gas carb. Then it s a matter of igniton??????? I have a extra CH module and pickup etc.

If I had that OPS 30cc I would get a carb just for gas. Next to free off a broken chain saw. Then all you would have to do is switch carbs and run gas or glow. You can leave the CH ignition on for better idle...ect. Good Luck Capt,n

D, the Zama carb from a Ryobi 31 is a perfect fit.

to Captinjohn:
I hate to be dumb but are you saying you can run gas without an ignition system by just changing to gas carb ???? and run it as a glow but on gas !!!

I am saying if you put the ignition on...you can run a gas carb set up, tuned for gas or you can run glow fuel with the orginal glow carb on it...still using the ignition. No glow to blow out...I would say it will run better with spark ignition. The sparks are there but sometimes glows die out. I do not know how better to explain it. Good luck Capt,n
