What is the difference between the long shaft and the short shaft motors? Ryobi 31cc.[>:]

From memory....

The long shaft is 3/8" diameter threads and about 6" long

The short shaft is threaded 5/16"-24 and sticks out about 2-1/4" beyond the flywheel.
