Minimal cost is for a prop hub and muffler, which would be approximately $40- $45 assuming you do the work.

Oops, forgot the mounting but I would mount to the recoil starter.

The maximum torque/power RPM numbers suggest mild port timing. But a 52cc engine for $125 seems like a deal.

Ken, do you have some pics of the conversion & the install?

Bill, you say it's a mild timming would it be enough for a kit that specs 50 to 75 cc gas engine? would there be a better suited engine in this lineup? http://www.duropower.com/index.asp?FID=3&level=1

this would be my first gasser, so i need all the healp i can get.

thanks guys!

I probably would not recommend any engine at the bottom of the specification range, glow or gas. Not all same size engines are created equal.

There is simply not enough known about the engine in question to speculate about it’s ultimate performance. In addition you probably shouldn’t be messing with port timing on a first conversion.
